Production Assistant · 3rd Assistant Director · Locations Assistant
Ten short films in, including the IFTA-nominated Punt, from the production office to the locations van to the edit suite. Hertfordshire-based, available across London, the South East and the UK.
Profile
I'm an emerging production crew member with credits across ten short films, professional and university productions, spanning the production office, locations, the AD department and post.
On professional sets I've worked as a production assistant for Poli Productions, including on Punt (IFTA-nominated and premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh), and as a locations assistant for Coral Moon Productions. Through my film degree I've also written, produced, production-managed, script-supervised, operated boom, DIT'd, edited and graded, so I understand how every department's day fits together and I'm comfortable stepping in wherever a shoot needs an organised, unflappable extra pair of hands.
Endlessly enthusiastic, quick to learn, physically fit and genuinely happy to graft. I'm looking for runner, PA, trainee AD and locations roles across film, television and commercials, working toward the AD department, with the long-term ambition of directing.
What I do on set
Driving kit to location, upholding health & safety standards across the site, and keeping the day moving: running the floor, distributing paperwork, and looking after cast and crew between setups.

On radio and earpiece, making sure everyone was in position and ready the moment action was called, stepping up from PA mid-shoot when a busy professional set needed an extra pair of hands in the AD team.
Practised on set · professional production
Unit setup and site safety: rigging gazebos, assisting the lighting department, and completing risk assessments then closing out the risks found, like carpeting loose cable runs. Plus unit access and leaving every site as we found it.

During the 1994 World Cup, a heartbroken widow returns to the island of her happiest memories to end her life, until an empty pay-as-you-go meter sparks a coin hunt, and an unlikely bet: Ireland to qualify. Written and directed by Nicky Larkin, produced by Alanna Riddell Bond, and screened at the Galway Film Fleadh, Belfast Film Festival, Cork International Film Festival and Dublin International Film Festival.
Watch the trailer ↗A star-crossed tragedy set in 1980s rural Donegal, where a Catholic girl's forbidden romance with a Protestant boy collides with her brother's hunt for their parents' killer. Olivia was the sole screenwriter, and across a five-day shoot also script-supervised, dialect-coached the cast, and ran the casting sessions.
